Infant through Kindergarten · Ages 6 months – 6 years · San Jose, CA
Most preschools treat performing arts as a seasonal extra. At Building Kidz, it’s built into the curriculum from day one. Music, dance, and theater aren’t just activities — they develop confidence, memory, language skills, and the kind of self-expression that sets kids up for life.
“Our proprietary performing arts curriculum fully integrates music, dance, and theater into age-appropriate development standards through classes and Broadway-style productions.”
Five core commitments that shape everything we do — from the classroom to the lunch table.
Safety
Keeping children safe is our first priority. Schools are sanitized daily and comprehensive safety protocols are implemented at every level.
LTLE
Learning Through Life Experiences makes learning experimental, imaginative, and sensory-based through real-world scenarios like emergency services, health, and nutrition.
Nutritious Meals
We prepare monthly meal plans and provide nutrient-dense choices every day. Good nutrition is part of every child’s development, not an afterthought.
Environment
Children are continuously nurtured by exceptional teachers with age-appropriate materials designed for kinesthetic, audial, visual, and touch learners.
Academics
Our children consistently exceed the entry-level expectations of elementary schools in the community, well prepared for their next phase of learning.
One school, from their very first days to kindergarten — and everywhere in between.
Infant Program
We brighten up the world for our youngest learners. In the Minnows classroom, your infant discovers their senses, explores their surroundings, and celebrates every milestone with the attentive care of dedicated teachers.
Small ratios mean your baby is never just another face. Every caregiver knows your child’s schedule, preferences, and personality.
Toddler Program
Our Toddler Program supports your child’s eagerness for learning in a fun, creative, engaging environment. The classroom has special furniture and safety measures to build body awareness and cater to your child’s size.
Toddlers are natural explorers. We give them the space, materials, and encouragement to discover the world on their own terms — safely.
Preschool Program
Our preschool program is where the Building Kidz Blueprint comes to life. Performing arts, hands-on science, outdoor learning, and academic preparation — all tailored to exactly where your child is developmentally.

My children have thrived at Building Kidz. The teachers genuinely care, the performing arts program built my daughter’s confidence in ways I didn’t expect, and the friendships she made here are ones she still talks about. This school changed our family.
The teachers Mr. Nick and Ms. Cara are superstars. The curriculum aligns with what elementary schools actually expect, communication is excellent, and my son gets outdoor time and community visits every week. Tuition is very reasonable based on the value this school provides.
After two years here I can say: the teachers know every child by name, the school is spotless, and the leadership is organized and personable. My son’s development holistically has been more than I expected from any preschool. We are incredibly grateful.
